HI! My name is Tonya Goss, and I am the fifth grade reading teacher at Piedmont Elementary. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2010, I achieved National Board Certification in Early Literacy, and I am also an Apple Certified Teacher. In addition, I am also LETRS certified and trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading instruction. Throughout my career, I have taught first, second, third, and fifth grades. I am married to Jeremy Goss, and have two children, Brookelyn and Owen. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and shopping.
