Hello! My name is Shelley Austin, and I currently teach both special education and gifted education at Piedmont City Schools. Teaching is truly my calling, and I believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn in a way that challenges, supports, and inspires them.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeremy, and our four boys, Jake, Kale, Cole, and Luke. Our family stays busy with sports, school activities, and cheering on the Piedmont Bulldogs! Family is the heart of everything I do, and I bring that same sense of care and connection into my classroom each day.
