I am an alumni of Piedmont High School and attended Jacksonville State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching at Piedmont Elementary School in 2006. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and currently teach reading and math as an interventionist. I have recently received my National Board Certification in literacy. 

I am married to Chad and we have two daughters, Cheyenne and Everly. We enjoy spending time at the beach, in the mountains of Tennessee, and at home on our farm in White Plains. We are members of First Baptist Church of Piedmont. We love Auburn!! War Eagle!!
