I am a proud graduate of Piedmont High School, Class of 2001. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2005 and have been passionate about teaching ever since. In 2019, I achieved National Board Certification in Literacy, and in 2024, I completed my master’s degree as a Reading Specialist.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching kindergarten, first grade, and reading intervention. I love helping students grow as readers and gain confidence in their learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chad, and our two daughters. We love camping, family time, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers! I am also an active member of First Baptist Church in Piedmont, Alabama.
